As a Board Member of Ke Ola Hou, he embodies this mission by supporting initiatives that foster community resilience, wellness, and cultural restoration. His lifelong dedication to Aloha has shaped his work in disaster response, youth development, and cultural preservation—ensuring that Hawaiʻi’s people remain connected to their roots while embracing the future. With a background in public safety, emergency management, and nonprofit leadership, Paulo has led efforts to integrate cultural values into modern solutions, from the Maui Disaster Case Management Program FEMA-4724-DR to the Royal Hawaiian Guard and the Hoʻomāhua Initiative-Smart Tourism. Founding Ke Ola Hou and serving its mission is a natural extension of his lifelong work, ensuring that Aloha remains at the heart of Hawaiʻi’s healing, growth, and sustainability.
