Rodger May

Rodger May is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and media executive with over 40 years of experience building and managing companies across diverse industries. He is the President of Mayday Movies, bringing his strategic insight and leadership to media production while continuing his legacy of impactful business ventures.


Throughout his career, May has founded and led major seafood enterprises including Mid-Pacific Seafoods, Smoki Foods, Northwest Fish Co., and co-ownership of Copper River Seafoods and Peter Pan Seafood, overseeing annual revenues ranging from $50 million to $500 million.


Outside of seafood, he is the owner and operator of Authentic Wagyu LLC, the largest importer of Japanese Wagyu beef in the United States, which complements his full-blood Wagyu breeding program based in Enumclaw, Washington. May also serves as President of Three Winches, Inc., an investment and venture capital firm managing a mid-nine-digit portfolio across sectors such as industrial applications, biotech, and media.


A passionate philanthropist, May helped lead the Lahaina Tree Recovery initiative, aiming to replant 30,000 trees after the devastating 2023 Lahaina Fire, and continues to support the rebuilding of Sacred Hearts School in Maui. He is also a dedicated board member of Ke Ola Hou – The Lahaina Resiliency Center, which provides vital trauma-informed and culturally-rooted recovery resources to the Lahaina community.


Known for scaling businesses beyond $100 million in annual revenue and creating thousands of jobs, May is recognized for his expertise in strategic growth, high-value transactions, and community-centered leadership.
